As the vibrant town of Lincoln City, Oregon, continues its transition from summer to fall, there were several exciting community events lined up in September 2023. Lincoln City Gifts, your friendly Oregon Coast gift shop, was thrilled to be a part of many of these festivities.
Even better: We have some fantastic plans of our own as we gear up to celebrate our five-year anniversary on October 14!
Here’s a recap of what we did — and what we’re doing!
Siletz Bay Music Festival
First on the list was the Siletz Bay Music Festival, which took place from Aug. 25 to Sept. 3. Lincoln City Gifts is immensely proud to have been a premier sponsor of this event for the last three years.
The festival is not just about music; it's about giving back to the community. This year, we joined hands with Kiwanis to raise funds for scholarships. Our booth was bustling with fun activities, including Pixieland games and delightful face-painting, making it a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.
Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival
Next up was the Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival on Sept. 23 and Sept. 24. It was a weekend filled with colorful kites soaring high against the backdrop of the stunning Oregon coast. It's a sight to behold — and you can be sure that Lincoln City Gifts was there to soak in the fun and excitement and to offer our services as volunteers.
Lincoln City Gifts: 5-Year Anniversary
The excitement continues into October, too! We'll be celebrating our 5-year anniversary on October 14, and we've got a big event planned with snacks, discounts, and free balloons for the kids.
Stop by to see our recent renovations and store expansion. You can expect a host of festivities, including a spin-the-wheel game with exciting prizes, free samples of our delectable food items, a grand balloon arch welcoming you to our store, and much more.
It's our way of saying thank you to the wonderful Lincoln City community — both permanent and temporary residents! — for their continued support.
Leading Up to the Anniversary
In the lead-up to our anniversary celebration, we have some exciting developments in store, too!
First, as we mentioned above, we’re thrilled to announce that our store is undergoing an expansion, offering even more space to display our unique and locally sourced gift items.
Plus, we'll be sponsoring a chamber luncheon to spread the word about our expansion and the upcoming anniversary event.
